Raising Chickens At Home

Raising Chickens at Home

Since I was a child my father already breads chickens. Raising chickens at home wasn't an easy job. Every morning my father wakes up early to clean their cages. Also he will feed them some feeds. My father breads different types of chickens. There are chickens that are for cock fighting; there are also chickens for stag fighting; and there are chickens that are only for leisure. These pets are expensive too. And it need some experienced people to handle and to take good care of them.
There was a time that my father taught me how to take care of the chickens. He taught me how to give them feeds. He taught me how to give their vitamins and other important meds. He also taught me how train them for cock fighting. Cock fighting is the very most awaited event for cock owners. They would buy for the expensive cock for the fight. They will train it up to the very extensive training. My father also does these trainings with his cocks.
I had some good and bad experiences with these chickens, especially the hen. When I was a child one of the hens attached me fiercefuly. It became a trauma to me. But at a latter time my Father helped me how to manage these "pets". I became one of his handlers. I would be the one personally giving their meds and the injections. At first, it was a little bit tiresome and iritating but on the long run it was fun. I always woke up early in the morning. I would clean and wash their dirt and cages.
As days goes by, and as stag and derby fights went by, I have learned so many things about raising chickens at home. Raising chickens at home is not only fun but also very helpful in knowing some right decisions in the field of livestocks.
